Cutting Marble Slab With Tile Saw

This video goes through the basics of using a small inexpensive wet saw to cut marble or granite tiles.

Turn on the saw when you are ready to use it feed the marble slowly into the saw until you reach about 1 3 in 2 5 7 6 cm and then stop. In the next video i ll show you how you may cut dry.

As with ceramic tiles you can use a tile nipper tile cutter or electric wet saw to cut stone tiles. It s not that hard. Hold the marble tile that you re cutting against the edge of the fence to see where it lines up with your saw. Choose either a standard circular saw or a wet cut circular saw to cut granite.

If you don t have a wet saw available you can cut stone tile with a manual hacksaw. Skilsaw used to cut the marble. Poking a small hole in the cap of a bottle of water is a great option if a hose is not available. Remember to wear your gloves and eye and ear protection.
